I'm so excited for this book's release. I've been working on this story since October, 2023. That's 28 months of my life devoted to Tristan and Cade.

As the book synopsis tells readers, Tristan is searching for his missing sister. He breaks into a home of a suspected trafficker, and he's caught. Luckily for him (not to much for the trafficker), Cade is there to intervene, save Tristan, and eliminate the bad guy, but not before Tristan's identity is revealed to man's associates.

Cade takes him to a safe house while they work to take down the trafficking ring. That's where things get a little... steamy. The story outlines how these two lost souls find comfort in each other during their week in seclusion.

Cade is a tattooed assassin with a traumatic past. He feels he's inherently unlovable, and keeps everyone at a distance. Until Tristan breaks through the barriers he's erected around his heart.

Tristan is lost in his own way, not only because he feels untethered over his sister's disappearance, but because he has regrets over how their relationship has developed. He is not only searching to save her, but to salvage their relationship and to solidify their bond as the only family they have left.

This story started as fanfiction, but something inside me felt it needed to be told to a larger audience. (Of course, I'm only hoping a larger audience will read it.) I spent a great deal of time revising (the 6th edition of the story is the final one) to make sure the characters and the plot were solid.
