​A.D. Sano, lover of dogs, chocolate, coffee and sassy comebacks, is a native of Maine but now lives in Indiana. A lifelong reader (yes, flashlights under the covers and all), she's been hooked on romance since early adulthood due to her idealistic, softhearted, and somewhat unrealistic sentimentality. Ever since her third-grade teacher gave her a gold star on her "book" about a twenty-foot-long bumblebee, she's wanted to be a writer, but life had other plans (and also, she needed money, because capitalism), and she now writes part-time and dreams of retiring early to be a full-time author. (See above re: idealistic and unrealistic.) She has written fanfiction for years and is now channeling that passion for MM into stories with original characters. When she's not reading, writing or rewatching Heated Rivalry for the billionth time, she spends her time being bad at hobbies, like painting, smiling at work, and pretending like she wants to be out in public.
